Social Classes

Social skills groups provide a safe, supportive, and structured environment where individuals can practice communication, social interaction, and relationship-building skills with guidance from trained professionals.

Activities

Members of the social skills group engage in various activities such as role play, team discussions, and unstructured play, with some interactions recorded for later discussion.

Typically, group members not on the autism spectrum are trained in communication skills for interacting with those who are. Parents may also receive training concurrently.

The cost for the program is $580 for 5 weeks.
Held on Saturday with age groups of 7-18.

Group Sessions 

A social skills group session is structured and focuses on specific skills, including lessons, demonstrations, role-playing, discussions, and individualized feedback. They can be composed of individuals both with and without disabilities and are often held in various community settings.
